We are a training practice and you may be offered an appointment with a GP registrar. These doctors are fully qualified and will have had experience in several hospital specialties. They are completing their specialist training as a GP.
We also host placements for 4th and 5th year students from Brighton and Sussex Medical School. During their time with us students may sit in with doctors or nurses, and will also see patients under the strict supervision of our GPs. We will always inform you beforehand if a student will be present during your consultation and we respect your right to let us know if you would rather they were not there.
The surgery offers a valuable training ground for these young people and we do appreciate your co-operation.
