Repeat prescriptions

You can request a repeat prescription online using Patient Access.

You need to register to use our online repeat prescription ordering service, please go to the Online Services page to find out more information.

You will need to register to use our online repeat prescription ordering service and this is best done in person at the surgery. Please speak to one of the reception team for details.

Please allow up to 3 working days for the prescription to be processed and ready to collect – longer if submitted over a weekend or Bank holiday.

Please note: it is the responsibility of each patient to check with the practice or chemist to see if the prescription has been generated.

Electronic prescriptions

Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS) enables the prescriber – such as GP and Practice Nurse – to send prescriptions electronically to a pharmacy of the patients choice. This makes the prescribing process more efficient, quicker and convenient for patients and staff. It also avoids the need to call in to the surgery to collect your prescription and enables you to go direct to the pharmacy to collect your medication. In order to take full benefit of this service, you will need to advise us of your nominated pharmacy and provide your consent with your next prescription request.

The repeat prescriptions are monitored for safety and quality purposes.
