Please call for for test results (eg blood, urine, x-ray) after 12.00pm each day.
Results are normally given over the telephone, but you may be asked to make a further appointment to speak with the doctor in person. When the results are normal, the doctor will file it into the patient records, and there will be no need to contact the patient, however, when the results are abnormal, the doctor will instruct the Receptionist to contact the patient and arrange for either a telephone consultation or a face to face consultation to discuss these results. However, if you would like to know your results, please ring after 12.00pm and one of the receptionist will inform you. Using the online access is an alternative way to view test results.
To ensure confidentiality, we only release results to the patient, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
